This dress is the length of a shirt .... Plus sizing chart is NOT accurate

I am a bride to be searching for sparkly outfits for my bachelorette party. I have heard good things about Rebdolls and liked this dress enough to order. However, I was stunned when I pulled it out of the packaging. I went by my exact body measurements and I am a bonafide 2x according to their chart. However, the length of the "Dress" is truly that of a tank top. I was shocked and thought maybe it expands when it is tried on. I put it on and extended it "fully" and it honestly did not even reach my hips. I am 5'10, so perhaps this would work for a much , much, much shorter person without a big chest and hips?

Also note - the straps are truly one single piece of tulle, they look like they could snap just hanging on a hanger. If you have a big chest, be careful.
